And a couple specific ones just posted that I missed:
MARCH FOR AMERICA, which is next weekend, Flag Day —every Freeper would make a committment to participate in their home State. Make a VISUAL statement! There are rallies planned in the following State Capitols:
Arizona
California
Florida
Georgia
Indiana
Illinois
Kansas
Michigan
Minnesota
Nebraska
Nevada
Ohio
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
Washington

Contribute to Jon Bruning who has declared that he is running against Hagel in the 2008 primary.
Encourage primry challengers for Lindsay Graham, who is up for reelection in 2008.
I dont know much about the organization, but Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) is setting its sights on some of the more vulnerable congressmen, like Graham, and searching for challengers to them.

If anyone knows of a good, reputable group that gets results, please let us know!

Press Congress and the Senate to fully fund the fence.
My letter to Sen Specter (coauthor of the "Grand Bargain for Illegals"):
If you vote for this immigration bill, I will support your opposition in the primary. If you succeed in winning the party's nomination, I will vote for the Democrat regardless of who it is.

Least we forget how all this got done, Kill the HR 3302
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1827798/posts
Without open commentary on "talk radio" we would have 30 million new welfare cases just waiting to buy mome and popie, Uncle Julio and the rest bus tickets north so we can have 120 million in the new peasant class.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairness_Doctrine
As of early 2007, Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), along with Representatives Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), Maurice Hinchey (D-NY), and Louise Slaughter (D-NY) have announced their support of legislation which would reverse the 1987 FCC decision and restore the Fairness Doctrine.[4][5]
It has been routinely criticized by conservatives in the media as a means of keeping their views from being expressed or of deliberately cutting their available air time in half.[6]

What’s next for immigration? Complaints, protests, insults and threats against Bush by “The Base”. No blame on congress, which writes these bills. In other words, same ol’, same ol’.

I know. I can’t look at Bush as anything any more other than as part and parcel of an establishment that is working against the American people. I think the most interesting idea that was posted was the idea of a State bringing suit under Article IV against the Federal Government. An aggressive, conservative Attorney General could establish a national reputation with the law suit and set himself up for a run at Governor or Senate.

1 focus on deporting illegal alien criminals with existing agents.
2 Continue to demand massive deportations.
3 Press for jail time for employers that hire illegal aliens. If you do #3 first, you won't have to do # 2. They will either leave themselves or come legally
# 1 should be on ongoing since day one and in fact is the real problem in the first place

He has betrayed this country and intentionally left our border wide open for his buddy Fox in Mexico !Radical left wing La Raza and evil George Soros are the makers of this BILL fro crying out loud . Impeach this dangerous fool

Bush is gonna go for broke next week on this... look for another hastily crafted bill followed by more of the same, phony guarantees. The games is afoot and it is for keeps what with the end of the Bush Administration and the "go for broke" libs jumping out of the "RINO" closets.
Take nothing for granted, ESPECIALLY statements like "we will not try to pass immigration reform this year" bs. If we hear that one look out for the distraction because about two weeks later they will announce "We are nearing completion of a bill" and they will be "very optimistic."
Bastards.

“If we show some serious backbone, many will self deport.”
Self deportation is the key in my opinion. Enforcement of existing laws will reduce the overall problem substantially.
Reduce the problem before you try to deal with it in other ways...

What??? Bush right now is telling congress to ressurect the POS! Their must be a VERY large chunk of the President's butt on the line somewhere that is riding on this.
If the Bill trully dies, look for an Executive Order before he checks out of Motel 1600.

Oh yeah!
We need to push a NEW bill called "FEDS." 1) FENCE (build it) 2) ENFORCE (the law) 3) DEPORT (as many as possible) 4) SANCTION (all employers who violate the law)
While the 4 things you mention need to be done you're doing the same the the current group of twits is doing...bundling!
One thing at a time! Build the fence. When that is DONE, and only then, move on to steps 2-4. These are individual steps, not a bunch of steps that can be lumped together. There is no expectation of any of them getting done if they're all passed at the same time. IMO that's one of the problems with the bill now...too much at one time.
As masters of incrementalism you would think that such a thing would be a natural for Democrats. Perhaps it's just an "issue specific" thing and illegal immigration isn't as "issue specific" as say gun control.
