The system that hit parts of Wisconsin Thursday night hit Central New York last night. Close to 5,000 people were without power. Luckily no injuries.

My weeds in IL must be quite healthy right about now.
Return is on Tuesday, and you will be able to find me in the yard pulling and sweating and talking to myself. It won’t be pretty.
Back and front beds here are fertilized and dusted with snail/slug stuff. Still have to sprinkle on the Preen.

The Breakfast looks good being that I am batching it, D left some food for me, prepared, but no breakfast...
Our men’s retreat was real good, way out in the country, in the middle of the woods. A retired pastor constructed this house we stayed in and built another one to live in close by, real rustic. Men go out in groups to be with nature and for the fellowship, real moving. Sleeps 15 and has cots for others. You have that feeling being next to God out there.
Looks like I am going to have to go to my doc about my knees, maybe they just need oiling or something.

Well, today I start trying to move my heard of chickens to the back with the others, they been ‘stying’ around my shack in the back and time for them to move.
For some reason my squash has gone bonkers, I have so much that I have already picked I am giving it away, more to get this afternoon. D made a squash/shrimp dish and we really like it. IF anyone has any suggestions on squash dishes let me know, please.
Poor of Lindsey Graham. I think he has gotten the word from his voters or, told what to say by his boss, McCain.

We had one heck of a storm yesterday afternoon, I mean a big storm, my little place was rocking and rolling.

OK, got to get moving around, sure is lonely without my family and hey speaking of family, we might be looking at just weeks before the adoption goes thru with Trevor Jason (JT), he is adopting real good to us and our friends, and I gotta say, he is one ‘active’ little fellow.

In fact the whole dinner sounds fantastic. I love baked beans from the bbq, it has a special taste. I serve those at our annual bbq. There’s never any left.
