North American Union: Deconstructing the U.S.
newsmax ^ | Friday, June 16, 2006 | Diane Alden

Posted on 06/09/2007 12:17:40 AM PDT by Fred Nerks

This is Part I of a three-part series.

No one in their right mind would consider Jerome Corsi a liberal or a leftist. Corsi received a Ph.D. from Harvard University in political science in 1972 and has written many books and articles, including co-authoring with John O'Neill the No. 1 New York Times best seller "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry."

The 2004 book was a defining character study of presidential candidate John Kerry. "Unfit for Command" may have been the single biggest reason John Kerry is not president today and George W. Bush is. He is also author of "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians."

Corsi is not a conspiracy nut, and he does his homework on the various issues he tackles. I suggest that the American people of all political orientation give full attention to a major event that frames immigration policy, the Dubai Ports deal and badly negotiated trade deals, as well as the sellout of American interests by our favorite politicians of both parties - and no party.

Corsi and Minuteman co-founder Jim Gilcrist wrote the book "Minutemen: The Battle to Secure America's Borders." The book is a timely investigation into how our nation's southern border is disintegrating into violence and chaos, human smuggling, drug running and incursions by Mexican military and police into U.S. territory.

Researching and writing the book forced him to ask some hard questions about the WHY of our porous border and the ultimate goal of those who are allowing it to remain a national disgrace of lawlessness and corruption.

In any event, I decided to interview Dr. Corsi after reading an article he wrote for Human Events Online: "President Quietly Creating 'NAFTA Plus'." [ http://www.humaneventsonline.com/article.php?id=15059 ]

His responses to my questions were astounding.

During the interview, Dr. Corsi told me that everyone is asking the obvious question about open borders. Why is the Bush administration failing to deal with them in any effective manner except to propose "guest worker amnesty." But most people don't pursue the answer to that question, perhaps because their instincts tell them they will not like the TRUE answer. As a conservative who supported the Bush administration in the past, Corsi found the answer difficult to take.

His conclusions and answer to the question of why nothing of any consequence is being done about our porous borders is startling and disturbing: "We are close to a coup d'état by the executive branch. What I have come across in my investigation reminds me of the plot in the blockbuster '60s book 'Seven Days in May' ... having to do with a military coup plot against civilian government. The conclusions I arrive at seem more in line with some fantastic plot line of the TV series '24'."

Corsi related to me that the most recent coup attempt against our nation, system and sovereignty is not being conducted by the U.S. military. Rather, it is being achieved through men who place commerce and commercial interests at the top of what mankind is about. It is very Hegelian and Marxist, at its center encompassing a belief that people are primarily motivated by economics and materialism, that trade and commerce and having material goods are the primary factors in creating a peaceful world. The policymakers who hold those attitudes have had immense influence on George W. Bush.

Immigration, open borders, trade deals, all of it is part and parcel of an attempt to create a North American Union. In its present form it is known as The Security and Prosperity Partnership signed by the "three amigos," Bush, Fox and Canada's Paul Martin at Waco, Texas, in 2005.

The idea for the North American Union has been floated for a couple of decades. It went into hyperdrive after the Cold War. At that time, powerful groups including the guiding lights in the Council on Foreign Relation, government, business and the denizens of the Beltway's Iron Triangle came into their own. Last year's report by a CFR task force entitled "Building a North American Community" is the outline for the North American Union, which they would like to have up and running by 2010.

The task force is quite clear that one of the major goals of this effort is to remake boundaries around the three North American nations. Individual countries will relate to a supranational parliamentary or governing system rather than to their own. National governments will still have limited power but not so much sovereignty. Immigration, in their ultimate plan, will mean open borders and a vastly diminished importance of citizenship in the three nations.

This is simply a new brand of old feudalism being set into motion by none other than the hero of so many Republicans, George W. Bush.

Your post is well worth pondering, and that takes time. My quick response is to admit at least some merit to each of your points. In each case, contemplation may show us what needs to be changed. But in the 20th century, it has been better to live in the United States than in the Russian communist empire (Soviet Union). So I am thankful. With the collapse of the Russian communist empire, there is greater hope for the people of many other nations, for example the Ukraine, and Poland.

“This anti-American sovereignty bill posing as an “immigration” bill is the beginning of the end of our nation. Fight it, and the oligarchs who created it, or lose everything worth having”

I feel like we dodged a bullet, but that more are coming. The sad thing is that in some cases it is President Bush who is pulling the trigger.

“Shown are the “repatriated” eight or nine states including Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington.

America truly has a clear and present danger with this Amnesty and the enemy within is in the government.”

I could go very deep on a spiritual basis of why this is occuring and will actually happen if we don’t change our national philosophy/principles but let me net out my understanding of how God, land and nations work.

Their are only three real categories of nations whom are formed that prosper or fail and what happens to them.

1) Those with self-destructive hedonistic culture are conquered through immigration or military. Some of the worst of these nations who murder innocents as sacrifice to the gods, wage continuous war with neighboring tribes and people are obvious as to why they are so easily conquered. No national of thought of bigger priorities leading to an inability to form national cohesion for defense of their nations. No security of it’s citizens can ever occur and no rule of law can be established. Some of these nations include many of the ones Israel conquered as an early nation, the Mayans whom fell to the Spaniards are examples.

2) Elitist/communistic nations whom murder and oppress their own people as an excuse to confiscate national resources to build palaces. Oppression stunts the nations growth of technology, economic and philisophic advances. Other nations bordering such countries build defenses against such aggressive, destructive behavior and war breaks out, leading the aggressor nation to eventually be conquered by the sword. Such past examples are Germany and Japan and nations and current examples are South America, Iran, Iraq, North Korea.

3) Those nations whom promote freedom, equality, self-sacrifice for one another survive but then lose focus of the value of such a nation. I could cite dozens of examples of nations who got it right at first but turned thier self-sacrificing focus of what is right to a focus of greed, power and lust and lost out.

However, I’ll list a few of those that stick out the most based on the bible and history and these are the nations of Israel, China, the Greek Empire, Rome and now America.

In all three categories such nations/peoples do reform later under new national names and similar cultural identities later in history but not without massive pain and suffering in-between.

From what I have learned, false worship are religions or national philosophy that are formed that promote self-centerdness instead of serving each other and recognizing a Creator that installs proper values into our heads and hearts at birth. Political structures such as Communism and Socialism promote state values and self-centerdness where the elites whom hold ego-centric values control the masses suffer. Militant Islam is a recent example where the top religious leaders of a destructive, self-serving philosophy cloaked in a fabrication ‘god wills it’ control the masses and cause great suffering. These also are corrected.

At one point in time, the bible and Creator promises that such proper values will always be instilled and emulated as eternal standards on earth. When that occurs, you get heaven on earth and the advancement of our species as a whole. I do believe 30-50 years from now we will see such a thing, not because the Creator zaps it into place, but through technology, specifically global communications most people on earth that now have access to. If I can find this info here in America and learn from such lessons, so can every person earth.

“Now tell me why we should merge with Mexico and Canada? What do we get out of it? We won’t get Mexico’s oil, that is already spoken for. As for timber, we are a modern industrial society. Raw materials (other than oil) are increasingly less important to us. Maine and the northwest have plenty of timber and it is an easily renewable resource.

No, Canada and especially Mexcio have little to offer us. Bush wants the SPP because of what we have to offer them—our wealth. He’s got his, and he, like his daddy, are elite one-worlders who see nothing wrong with giving my childrens’ country away so they can feel superior and beneficent, and earn points with the rest of the one-world political and economic elites. And I, a true American patriot, will fight against that with my last breath.”

Amen and the good Lord Jesus Christ shares this fight with us. He and us, will win. We will pray for them but what is right at much pain and cost will win over the god of self (and the god of this corrupt earth, Lucifer himself).

“But the method of imposing this New World Order is unconstitutional and totalitarian. It stinks of a collusion of oligarchs, corporate and aristocratic, against the interests and sovereignty of the American people. Big things are stirring while the proles’ attention is diverted by Paris Hilton, American Idol, Rosie, ad nauseum.”

Exactly. Almost funny and certainly very ironic that it is militant islam whom shows us the worst of all of mankind and exactly where we are headed as our primary enemy we mus annihalate. They are the ones who just began to wake us up to the demise and depravity of our own culture and will further do so. God indeed works in mysterious ways. I don’t believe He causes militant islam to attack us, but I certainly feel He is taking away our protections from them. After all, who could have thought that 19 radicals islamists funded by less then 30 million dollars total could almost bring down our entire nation instantly and change our way of life?

“I don’t know how to say this tactfully so I’ll just jump right in. All this was predicted thousands of years ago in the Word of God. One World government. From that will rise a world leader who will be charasmatic enough to fool the people into thinking he can solve all the worlds problems. Antichrist. Truth is, nobody can solve them or prolong them or stop whats going to happen from happening. Its already been written for thousands of years.”

In general yes I agree. But why and how? Because instead of working with God as a team listening to His values and lining up with His strategy on how he is going to fix it, we try to move ahead of God with out own flawed human understanding. Read some of my other posts here on this article. I disagree we couldn’t change it and that prophecy about the future is written in stone. Open the bible and read about the city of Ninevah and Jonah and the whale. Jonah was told by God to go and tell the King of Ninevah that they were to be destroyed in 40 days because of their wickedness. That would be like me asking you to go see Almahanajeed in Iran and tell him the same thing today.

The King of Ninevah repented and all his people followed suite. Their city-state lasted another 100 years, or almost two entire generations before they were destroyed because they went back to being wicked. What is wickedness? Opressing the masses uses power for self-serving purposes to accumulate wealth, like what Bush is doing or trying to do in America. Wickedness back then was also serving false gods where the practice was common to sacrifice newborn babies over flames. Similar to America but we are not sacrificing them on an idol over flames, we are sacrificing them to the god of self to have sex without responsibility. America is also being warned but we are not listening, so the end result may very well also be similar to the city-state of Ninevah.

Educate them, and they’ll make trouble.

Well to them, it would probably be trouble if indeed they are up to no good like you say. To us, it would be like I said, if they are educated, they will become assimilated. I don't really know about the next generation of Mexican children here in America, though. I figure they will learn the language just from being exposed to it. My greatgrandparents imigrated here from Germany in the 1840s. My grandfather and grandmother were both raised in German speaking households yet they knew perfect English by the time they were very young. I am not willing to say that the Mexican children will be ignorant just like their parents. Indoctrinated, maybe. But again, we underestimate the natural intelligence of children. My 15 year old grandaughter has become quite conservative, in spite of the schools best efforts to indoctrinate her.

“And citizens are in fact losing the right to govern themselves in once sovereign European nations. Poland was assured when they joined the EU that they could retain their own laws on things such as abortion and homosexuality. That lasted about two weeks, and then the EU began screaming that Poland would have to change their laws to fit the pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality EU agenda.

Throughout Europe, policy is increasingly decided by bureaucrats, judges, and others unaccountable to the people. The North American Union would be no different.

Right now, the NAU seems like something that could never happen. Surely it must just be “right-wing extremists” who fear such a thing. But these things evolve. They’re rarely imposed immediately in one big policy decision.

The current immgration policies of our country make it almost inevitable. Those policies are to either keep the status quo (which is very bad) or pass the Kennedy-Bush bill (even worse). Either way, in a couple of decades or so our country will have tens of millions of additional unassimilated Mexicans living here. Our leaders and our media will casually announce that we’re de facto merged with Mexico already, and that our only two options are to maintain the status quo or to “bring the U.S.-Mexican alliance out of the shadows” by merging the two countries.

It’s the same tactic that they pulled on us with immigration. For decades they failed to enforce our immigration laws, allowing millions of illegals to come in. Now they tell us we already have de facto amnesty, so we may as well legalize the illegals and “bring them out of the shadows”.

Scylla on the one hand, Charibdes on the other.”

What an insightful post. Those of us in the know have to fight this good fight now until the end, whether dramatic change happens from within or is forced upon us by our enemies whom know our domestic conflicts and are making their moves.

“The devil may eventually have his New World Order, but God is going to have His first! be blessed... ;^)”

If your going to believe scripture the anti-christ and Lucifer get their kingdom on earth first and then comes the kingdom of Christ. History and the bible shows corrections by our Creator of destructive attitudes where the elites control the masses.

“Okay, maybe that last line was a little over the top, but honest-to-God, I just don’t see this thing playing out any other way, particularly in light of the current socialist-oligarchy alliance (that would be Kennedy and Bush). I’m sorry, but until the government of Mexico gets reformed, it’s just going to remain a third world pit. And any assistance that we give them is just going to go down some rat-hole, just like it did in Russia, and just like it is doing in Africa.

Build the fence, enforce the law, cut the PC crap, start being proud to be an American again. (/rant)”

I love the sarcasm of your screen name but you are empowered beyond your dreams my friend with the right perspectives. I loved the movie “V for Vandetta” where V is riddled with bullets and the bad guys screams “why won’t you die!!!” and V says “Because ideas are bulletproof!” Then he chokes the socialist/elitist bad guy to death as V had promised.

I disagree we cannot stop the elites from doing the 3rd option of getting there way by cheap labor and votes to control the masses. The recent killing of this bill by We the People is a strong example. Now We the People must follow through on finishing the job (we should be paid!!!) for doing the job our elitist politicians have failed to do on the border. Then We the People will finish the job by voting in the Abe Lincolns of America and saying goodbye to the elites. The god of money, sex and drugs will only dull our wits so long my friend. Those of us on the watch will use the Internet to reach the slumboring masses and our terrorist enemies will also do their job of waking us up the hard way (unfortunate).

I wonder how they handled it when they added all those states and terrotories and such. Were there Mexicans living in New Mexico and California and those other states we won in the Mexican War? If so, how did we handle the situation of a whole bunch of new citizens? I am really curious about that one. And the influx of immigrants in the 2nd half of the 19th century and early 20th century. All those shanty Irish and Italians and Germans, etc. I wonder if the citizens of America were upset then, too. Its something to ponder. I know its not the same thing. They came here legally but still the American people must have felt their country was going down the drain, too. Heck, maybe this is payback for kicking the Indians off their land. I know we took a wilderness and made a great country. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have formed the USA. Its a great country. I just wondered how our ancestors felt when they thought they were facing the same situation.

. It is a shift in focus we need, first back to values and then a national goal as big as the Apollo program (space exploration) such as eliminating death perhaps called “the Eternity Project”. Our technology is less then 100 years away from humans being able to save our concienceness onto machines and project such conciesness as energy many times faster then the speed of light. Such a project benefits all of mankind, is scriptually supported as fact that it will occur and keeps our heads on something good rather then fighting monotony on this plant on sex, greed, power and drugs.

Really? How interesting! How would that work?

The number one cause of poverty in this country is lack of education. The number two cause is out-of-wedlock childbearing, and Hispanics are at the top of the charts on both. Check out the National Center for Education Statistics website. It’s nced.ed.gov. Hispanics have the highest dropout rate of ANY demographic, including blacks. High school dropouts do not climb the economic ladder; they stay on the bottom rung.

Go to the National Center for Health Statistics (cdc.gov/nchs) and you will find that Hispanics have a higher rate of out-of-wedlock births than ANY other demographic. Single mothers rarely climb the economic ladder, especially if they are also uneducated.

These are facts, not pie-in-the-sky wishful thinking about how things ought to be. This is how things are.

IF they are educated, they will assimilate. But they are not being educated. IF their behavior conforms to that of middle America, they will assimilate. But their behavior does not conform. That is the reality of who these people are, all your wishful thinking to the contrary.

Its scary stuff but ignoring it won’t make it go away. Thats what got us into this mess in the first place. I heard a very heartfelt prayer this morning where the person praying asked God to forgive us for sitting idly by and letting the enemy have control of our country a little at a time. America is so full of people who don’t see and don’t care.

Thanks. I followed the links you provided.

I’m very glad that so many reacted in the last few weeks to stop amnesty. I think there are reasons to remain concerned and alert. I don’t think one has to have a tinfoil hat in order to take this stuff seriously. Here are some things that bother me.

President Bush STILL wants to push “immigration reform.”
President Bush may have been too sincere when he cited UN resolutions as a reason to go to war in Iraq. US reasons, not UN resolutions, must be 98% or the reason we do anything.
EVEN IF the SPP had innocent and modest objectives at first, programs will grow.
After all these years, so little has been done about illegal immigration.
