She couldn’t handle it. I feel sorry for her. Just put her under house arrest.

You'll get seriously flamed for that comment on here, but I agree. I can think of no other person that has been let out of jail and then returned FOR ANY REASON. I have daughters though, so....

Clearly - the law & order types on FR can’t cope with the fact that they are not treating her fairly. Clarity and fairness. They are sticking it to Paris, and that just sucks.

I ALSO HAVE A DAUGHTER. Who I adore. But if she looses her mind (drives drunk, violates probation, etc) I will *never* protect her from the consequences of her own actions.

And I will not do this *to* her precisely because I *do* love her.

(As a parent, my *primary* job is to prepare them to be responsible adults. I can only protect them from themselves while they're children. Then, they're on their own.)

Happens more often than the Sheriff would like you to know. A couple of times a month, a person will be "erroneously released". They send over a black and white to the guy's last known address and usually just pick him up. This, according to the department, was simply a "reassignment" -- she was still doing her time, and it's up to the court and the county to decide where that time is served -- CRDF, IRC, at home, etc.

“I can think of no other person that has been let out of jail and then returned FOR ANY REASON.” That’s just it. How many people do you know of that are let out of jail in defiance of the judge’s orders? I don’t know of such a case.
