For me -- less that 24 hours in a Marine Corps brig, was a life altering experience!
Why the brig you may ask?
Well, it was as simple as disagreeing with my D.I. over the state of cleanliness of my rifle during inspection....
In the 60's on Parris Island --- I could just as well been drowned for a lesser offense. < /slight exaggeration>
I admire you.
I’ve never met anyone who would argue with a D.I.
So I assume that you would not have gotten early release from the brig because of an anxiety attack? :)
