LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A judge has ordered Paris Hilton returned to jail and she was taken from court screaming.
A crying Hilton was taken to court in a police car Friday for a hearing on her early release from jail, heightening the struggle between the judge who sentenced Hilton and the sheriff who turned her loose.
Hilton appeared to be in handcuffs when she was placed into a black-and-white patrol car, which sped away from her Hollywood Hills home with lights flashing. Paparazzi sprinted in pursuit and news helicopters pursued overhead, broadcasting live TV coverage.

Baca dismissed the criticism, saying the decision was made based on medical advice.
“It isn’t wise to keep a person in jail with her problem over an extended period of time and let the problem get worse,” Baca told the Los Angeles Times on Thursday.

I wonder what kind of medical condition would make a sheriff go soft? They do have facilities for medical care or I am sure could make accommodations were special medical treatment deemed worthy.
And there you have it: the morre of a spectacle she makes of herself and the more bizarre the situation gets, the more money she'll make with the TV movie deals, the book deals, the BaBaWaWa interviews, cosmetics endorsements, and appearance fees in the future.

Hilton was sent to jail for violating probation.

If you think this is good, wait ‘til this idiocy gets to the LAWSUIT stage! She hasn’t got a leg to stand on, of course, but that doesn’t mean her battery of attorneys isn’t going to keep L.A. County busy for a lonnnnnng time!

He needs to turn her loose again and pump up the entertainment value of this reality show.. Ha!

She will still do only about 3 weeks.
BTW: It is routine for the Sheriff to release non-violent offenders early. The Jail is under a court order to relieve overcrowding and has been for a number of years.
So because once in a blue moon they decide to make an example of someone you feel better. Personally, I’d rather have examples made of Patrick Kennedy, Jim Webb, Cynthia McKinney and Sandy Berger to name a small sample, but hey, that’s just me.
How many illegal aliens are driving around LA with no license at all, never mind a suspended one? When they’re busted, do they do 45 days and then get deported? In El Alcalde Villaraigosa’s Ciudad de Mexico? Tell me another one.
Paris Hilton has the misfortune of being this month’s Great White Defendant. She’s a fool and a scofflaw, but they’re making an example of her so they can point and say, “See, we don’t discriminate.” When in fact, that’s all they do.
Hilton will now have the distinction of serving more jail time than OJ Simpson.
