Let's put this under the category of "all good things must come to an end."
For the vast majority of 2,264 days, I have had the distinct honor and priviledge of starting this thread for the benefit of all who frequent this place.
It has been a blessing and one I will remember for the rest of my days.
Having been here through the start of the Iraq War, the immigration battles (which are still going on), hurricane KATRINA, and through all of it holding true to the Constitution, and the goal of improving the "American Way of Life". What I have learned in that time is that there are so many others who believe in these same principles--often there are those who express these things more elequontly than myself.
Demands on my life at this point, however, are dictating a change. I am finding it less and less possible to carve out the time to be faithful and true to the thread. I have kids getting ready for college, major turmoil at work (not my doing, but I'm stuck in it), and competing hobbies.
I will just cut right to it, I don't have the time in the morning anymore like I used to.
Thus, it is with a heavy heart that I have concluded this will be the last time I intend to start the ATRW thread. I would still like to be a member of this august group, but I think I would much prefer to post when I have time, because I need to get some time back to myself--particularly in the morning as I figure out what I need to do during the day.
I realize this is sudden and I apologize. I do hope, and I believe, that you folks will carry on. I am not leaving FreeRepublic, just becoming more of a "back bencher" for awhile. I wish to remain on ATRW's ping list for as long as ATRW continues.
I hope everyone understands. I'm just burned out.
Thanks.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
LOL
I am game too, Neets ... I have always admired you and miss you when you are not in my life ....
A perfect game ending hit..or as John Sterling would say....An Aaaa-bomb, from Aaaaa-Rod lol.
I could always move in with you...har!!!
(CAREFUL WHAT YA WISH FOR ;-) ;-) )
Did you know a few years ago I bought a few (3) strawberry plants and threw them in the garden..the mint i had planted choked most of my other flowers...my 15’x15’ little garden is now one huge strawberry patch.
I pulled a few out to give to girl pixie to plant in her garden.
deal
Door's open ....
Hiya toots.
I need to start eating grits for breakfast I guess.
My tummy is sure upset tonite from eating breakfast only and a bad/greasy one at that.
Why?? us women always have to do the dirty stuff.
If only.
Hiya toots, too.
Strawberry plants will take over everything, Neets ... pretty, but invasive ...
LOL i see that.
there was nothing left after the mint took over so I decided on something that the kids can enjoy.
The garden is sorta walled in so I just move the runners around so they don’t go over the wall and...........runaway...lol
I will decline to discuss the nature of the buns of a lady.
:)
I explained remontent growth to a customer the other day ... unexpected but welcome (my words) growth in a plant ...and you came to mind ... and here you are! Thank you ... really ...
