Mr G is directly descended from the Mayflower on both sides of his family. On his dad’s side they are from John and Priscilla Alden, and I don’t recall the name from his mom’s side.

I am from old Dutch stock that came here in the 1700’s to escape religious persecution. I also have Samuel F B Morse, inventor of Morse code, in there.

You and my DH are somehow related. He is directly descended from Gov William Bradford (Gx10 Grandfather) and is also descended from Samuel Morse and Elizabeth Jasper who came over on the Increase in 1635. Finley is descended from them as well.

My aunt was related to John Alden and could trace her roots back to the mayflower. She was kind of the family snob and never liked the family, but married my uncle .But I guess you could call her a relation. She never really came around and I can remember her some. She was a very pretty English woman.
