Did Parker--in her role as producer of S&TC--ever try to sell the show to Nickelodeon? PBSKids? Cartoon Network? Do you have any proof that she--as one of the show's producers!--fought against the show's "MA" rating?

Her show isn't the problem. Parents who are clueless about what their daughters are watching on tv or reading in mags are the problem. Celebriwhores like Hilton, Lohan et al--who choose to live completely immoral lives in the limelight are the problem, far more than an actress/producer who does a very good job keeping her private life private.

She is an adult. We’re talking little kids here.

I’m sick of little kiddies looking like they belong on a street corner. It’s the parents’ fault. They’re the ones buying the crap for them and they’re the ones who approve what they’re wearing as they’re heading out the door for elementary school. If it takes a celeb to lead the way, then more power to her.

Even toddler clothing that a hooker would be proud to wear. I spent a lot of time on the clothing issue with my daughter who is chesty. Some of the clothing in the store for my granddaughter makes me shudder. I took up sewing again. You've said it well, parents need to be responsible and I appreciate anyone, especially an actress that takes a stand on the subject. Conservative fashion forward clothes is helpful - especially with teens and early teens.
