Let me clarify to say “elective” plastic surgery.

There are whole shows on ABC, E!, and Fox that play up this notion of redesigning your whole body with elective plastic surgery.

I’d like to see these contestants 10 years after.

I agree. Some plastic surgery is necessary, and I have no problem with those scarred by accidents or burns having plastic surgery.

I do not understand "Elective" plastic surgery. I am no beauty queen. I wish I was, but alas I am not. So, I deal with it. Being ugly is not all that bad....

I'm with you there. It's completely out of control. I don't see any simple legal remedy. In a sane world, candidates for plastic surgery would have to go before some kind of medical review board. But in today's world, people would just go and get it done under the table. There would be no shortage of butchers willing to do it for a price.
