“U.S. corporation. EU workers.”

- What would be the outcome if Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Ferrari, Audi and Porsche hired American workers?

Perhaps automobiles that worked fine.

Don’t try to play with me here. I am an American who has lived for the last 14 years in the EU. I know that some EU companies deliver good products and I also know that they sometimes deliver garbage. Ikea comes to mind. I’ve bought things there that were worth the money, and some things that were simply cheap. It is like that with many things in the EU.

I made the comment I did precisely because you amended the title of the article in order to make a broad brush indictment of U.S. corporations. The workers who oversaw the packing and storage of the product in question were employed in the UK. I might fault the parent company for QC standards, but how does anybody know whether it was the fault of weak standards or simply from the shoddy workmanship of the UK employee?
