Returning to one of my favorite places, picture-wise (which I'd actually like to return to in person again).
Natural Arch of Kentucky, 100 foot span
Another view of Natural Arch:
Sky Bridge, from underneath:
Note that it has a little pillar support forming a secondary arch.

If you want to see what many of the Kentucky Arches look like, see the small pictures on this page:

Very nice pictures.
I visit the park frequently.
Cool. I’m on temp duty in Louisville KY for another two weeks, so I’ll try to get down there this weekend.
Been through the big cave a few years back, so this will be different.
Natural Bridge Caverns north of San Antonio is much smaller, but since I was only 7 when we saw it as a family, it seemed a LOT bigger! Then, years later, when I biked out there to see it midterm from college, the trip seemed shorter, the cave smaller, and the bridge lower ....
You need to have lunch or dinner at the Natural Bridge State Park lodge. The food is very good.
There’s also lots of fishing available in Red River and it’s connecting creeks throughout the gorge. You should take advantage of it.
I agree. I had breakfast there on a family vacation years ago. Just the think before a nice hike up to the bridge (or, take the chair lift up, and hike back down).
OK, OK. But can I eat breakfast WHILE I’m cogitating about the walk up to the bridge, or can I think about the walk up to the bridge AFTER I eat breakfast? 8<)
