Loose the pants that emphasize the hips for starters then get on a diet and exercise.

Nah, let her get fatter. What the heck, most of America will then be able to relate to her. And, she can join the ranks of millions who get diabetes at an early age.

Talk about a wardrobe malfunction. She could probably get away with the extra weight if she did not wear such unflattering clothes.

she’s got the hippy hippy shake

And what, exactly, does her weight have to do with her voice

Maybe she should get a hold of Carrie Underwood’s personal trainer. She lost alot a weight after she won AI.

Probably nothing. Other than the record company wants to keep its investment alive, healthy, and marketable.

Katherine McPhee, too. I’m surprised the Idol brass aren’t insisting on it. ;)

    Noted.
Aretha Franklin (et al) comes to mind
and she is still alive and singing, if memory serves. Could be the exception, who knows?

On the Idol gives back show, she looked HORRIBLE! But in the world of singing, isn’t that what is most important? Our priorities in life have really suffered because we only go by looks of people. Many people think Duncan Hunter needs to lose weight too. Is that going to make him a better President? I think not.
