Join 16 modern-day pirates as they embark on a high seas adventure around the Caribbean island of Dominica in search of hidden treasure that will total $1 million. Over the course of 33 days, the pirates will live aboard a massive 179-foot pirate ship.
Each week, these buccaneers will go on extraordinary expeditions and decipher clues along the way. Gold coins - real money that the pirates can take with them beyond the show - will be awarded after each treasure hunt, but only to some. The prized gold will then play a key role as pirates strike deals with each other and vie for long-term security.
Claiming the lion's share of the week's riches, one pirate will become the captain of the ship and will assign roles and chores to the remaining crew members, setting the tone for law and order or betrayal and sabotage, which could lead to mutiny by the crew. Such fates will be decided on the ship at Pirate's Court, a lively gathering of public speaking and judgment where one individual will be "cut adrift" every episode.
In the end, captain or not, only one pirate will win the largest booty, worth $500,000, and claim the title of "Pirate Master."
Stuck as I am with a dial-up modem, I sure would appreciate if someone could post cuz-style summaries of the rest of the shows!
thanks for the info, cuz
gotta agree with cBS, this show stunk.
One tame "spolier" is there will only be 2 black spots on todays episode. Click on "Episode 9 - Spoiler Thread" and you can find out who the bootie is for tonights episode.
From kolotv.com (an online website for a local Reno tv station
A local celebrity and Deputy District Attorney has died.
35 year old Cheryl Kosewicz was found dead in her home on Friday just two months after her boyfriend took his own life.
Kosewicz was working as a Deputy District Attorney in Reno focusing on the prosecution of sexual abuse cases.
Kosewicz also starred in a survivor spin-off show called Pirate Master on CBS.
Officials told Kolo-8, the death is believed to be a suicide but is still under investigation.
For anyone still interested, the next episode is online at the SeeBS website.
Take Care,
Cuz
Thanks for the effort on the show and ping list. The show was a stinker but I was trying to drag myself to the finish. Sure would have not started with it again if they had a second season.
Just waiting for the real thing - Survivor.
That’s so sad. Prayers for her family. Thanks for keeping us up to date.
Her boyfriend also killed himself a couple months ago. But bad show reviews?? I feel for her family. http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,22164612-5001028,00.html
Rest in peace.
WWE's Ashley Massaro Confirmed On 'Survivor: China'
It's been confirmed that WWE's Ashley Massaro will be one of the contestants on the next edition of 'Survivor'.
'Survivor: China' will premiere on Thursday, September 20th on CBS. One wrestling resource reports that "CBS contacted WWE and asked them to send them someone that would make a good television character... Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn both felt pretty strong about giving Ashley the role, especially Dunn."
Production has already begun on 'Survivor', and this year's edition will see two tribes, with 8 members on each, the Zhan Hu (Fighting Tigers) and Fei Long (Flying Dragons).
Having the well endowed Ashley Massaro compete on the reality show can't be anything but good publicity for both her and the WWE.
I was wondering what happened. It just disappeared from our local channel. Granted the show was weak, the wife and I still tuned in every week.
See ya' on the Survivor thread.
