After a similar experience here, I had the GREAT pleasure of telling one that "I have made other arrangements" and shut the door in his face.
Rude...yes, but he deserved it. Lie?...no, I HAD found someone else who came the very next day after I had called...and on time. His name and telephone number are now in my phone book for keeps.
We did go to the gardem shop for flowers yesterday before traveling to MD. to celebrate a neice's birthday. I finally was able to find white flowers. They are petunias and impatients, but I really wanted geraniums. The only white greaniums I can find are in big hanging baskets! SO the others will do.
For future reference...flowering Vinca and Melampodium also come in white...
I caught a rerun of Hannity’s radio show and there was some talk that Howard Dean ( - don’t do anything until you hear from me — blame it on the lack of national guard) and Pelosi orchastrated the Kansas Governor’s resposnse to the tornado damage (as if there was a doubt?) - and somebody leaked it.
I was without news for a while - did I miss something big here?
I read elsewhere that JimRob had received a Cease and Desist order from the DNC over that story, which is why you probably haven’t seen much about it here at FR.
Apparently somebody posted a link here to another website that was discussing it.
I have no idea how much credence we should give the story, but if the DNC issued a C&D, I’d have to think there’s something to it.

I am making it a point to put the finishing mower on the front yard every week and the back every two weeks. Next project is go finish planting bushes out front and put in the garden pond with waterfall and all. Full day tomorrow.
