Been there brother, wasn't what I would call my choice either, but in the end, it was the best $30,000+ I ever spent.

Some advice, ( please feel free to ignore it) stay single for at least 3 years, or at least don't get into anything that would require a commitment. Take the time to get to know yourself again, you'll be surprised to learn that a lot of your personality has morphed into what your ex either wanted you to be, or what you became to keep peace.

Welcomer aboard! Sorry to hear about it but I do hope it was amicable and if there are kids involved both you and your ex have their interests at heart. I know myself I'm a child of divorce and it is very hard when you're a young kid, I was 9 to 10 when it happened to me.
