1) Sufjan stevens-Chicago I can't stand Sufjan Stevens. Too much pop music nowadays tries to be overly cute and artsy instead of, well, musical.

Plus, I don’t have an iPod anyway. I’m deaf enough from years of seeing bands at clubs without spending hour upon hour piping music directly at my eardrums.

We could drop NIN for Leon Russell’s “Manhattan Islan Serenade”.

If it was on there then you wouldn’t have heard it. I was hoping these songs you wouldn’t have heard :-)

Big bump to old (pre-'75) Leon Russell. ....the "Master of Space and Time." Incredible/underrated talent. ....and perhaps the best arranger in the biz.

The new Arcade Fire CD ain’t too bad, from what I’ve heard of it. Most of the stuff coming out nowadays is pretty dismal.

Oh, no we don't. But we could replace "Something..." with "Only" played real loud.

I have listened to it a couple of times. I’m really impressed by them. It didn’t seem like the type of music I would be interested in, but “No Cars Go” is quickly climbing up my favorite songs list.
