After the death of Gertrude Stein in 1946, Miss Toklas published her own literary memoir, a 1954 book that mixed reminiscences and recipes under the title The Alice B. Toklas Cookbook. The most famous recipe therein (actually contributed by her friend Brion Gysin) was called "Hashisch Fudge", a mixture of fruit, nuts, spices, and "canibus sativa" [sic] (aka: Marijuana).

I listened to the mp3 of that 911 call.
The guy said they used a quarter ounce of weed in the brownies. That’s not enough to blow a mouse’s mind.
Reality is for those poor folks who can’t handle drugs.

Why weren’t Sanchzes and his wife charged? Because he had things on somebody higher up? And why is he an ex-cop? Because he was too stupid to do the job or too corrupt?

And people don’t think that cops get special treatment when they’re busted. A civilian would’ve been charged with theft, possession of pot, being under the influence, and felony evidence tampering.
Losing your job is a bummer, but all this guy has to do is lay low for a year and then get a cop job in the next state over. He broke the code of the cops: DON’T GET CAUGHT.
