O.J. Simpson thrown out of steakhouse Owner says he is sickened by the attention Simpson still receives LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The owner of an upscale steakhouse in Louisville said he asked O.J. Simpson to leave his restaurant the night before the Kentucky Derby because he is sickened by the attention Simpson still attracts. “I didn’t want to serve him because of my convictions of what he’s done to those families,” Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. “The way he continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct.” Simpson, an NFL Hall of Famer and Heisman Trophy winner, was found innocent in 1995 of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman but was found liable in a civil trial that followed. Ruby — who owns restaurants in Cincinnati, Louisville and Belterra, Ind. — said Simpson, who was in town for the Derby on Saturday, came in with a group of about 12 Friday night and was seated at a table in the back.

He sure did. As horrible as Nicole's death was, I've read that it was quick. She hardly saw it coming. A small mercy of sorts. Ron Goldman fought hard for his life, backed into that corner. I can't even fathom the sheer terror he felt for what has been estimated to be 20 minutes. He had many defensive wounds. Imagine fighting for your life against Simpson with a knife.
God bless Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. Those poor souls. I'll never recover from this story and the injustice.
Simpson would have been acquitted in the criminal case even if he had confessed in the courtroom and there had been clear videotape of him committing the near-beheadings.

If I owned a restaurant,I'd deny service to (among others) either of the Clintons,either of the Kerrys,the entire Kennedy family,OJ,Michael Jackson and Peyton Manning.
As is, or should be, his right. If a smelly, poorly dressed man came in he could/would refuse him service. Well, metaphorically, OJ smelled pretty bad to him. And, based on the customer's responses, he was doing for their benefit also.
And why can't a person "discriminate"?
