Well, here we go again...institutionalized racism rears its ugly head. What do you want to bet if it was a white former NFL player who had killed two people with a knife and walked HE would have received service by this restaraunt owner/bigot?

One would think that he could sue...and win if his jury pool was comprised of brothas and sistahs.

Ruby said,... people at other tables started standing. "They all got up and gave me a standing ovation, started applauding." The feel good story of the month!!

Jeff Ruby will no doubt get a call from Jessie Jackson threatening minority labor disruption in his restaurants unless, of course, an apology and a mega buck contribution to the ‘rainbow coalition’ isn’t forthcoming ... immediately. Yeah, Jesse can hold up the big guys like Budweiser and get beer distributorship's for his sons in the lucrative Chicago area. Jeff Ruby will tell him to stick it where the sun don’t shine ... none of which will ever be reported in the Gannet owned Cincinnati Enquirer ... Ruby’s hometown.

Surprised nobody is calling this a ‘hate crime’. If you kick a black person out of most business establishments, the charge is soon to follow.

When there were protesters in downtown in support of the Boycott Cincinnati (no justice no peace) movement, employees from Ruby’s restaurant poured water on them from the upper floors of the building. It was way cool!
