Hasselhoff's performance in that videotape was pretty embarrassing, but he was NOT abusive to his daughter, like the schmuck Baldwin. In fact, he seemed rather sheepish and ashamed of himself.

This may have been the wake-up call he needed.

He’ll get his kids back. I suspect we’ll hear him saying that the whole affair was painfull but a good thing in the long run because he’ll be straight. He really sounds like a pretty decent guy with a problem.

How could you not consider that kind of behavior in front of a child to be abusive? Just listen to the child’s interrogation of him - she’s a teenager and his addiction has turned her into a 12 step instructor. That’s not a proper part of a child’s life. He needs to get his shirt together.
