When the judge ruled, Kathy Hilton then blurted out: "May I have your autograph?" He should have handed her a signed Contempt of Court summons.

Mintz said at the time Hilton wasn't aware her license was suspended.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some (wo)men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way (s)he wants it. Well, (s)he gets it. And I don't like it any more than you men.

he testified she believed her license was initially suspended for 30 days and that she was allowed to drive for work purposes during the next 90 days.I bet she's never worked a day in her life.

If she was serious ( no way ) she'd report to jail immediatewly, to get it over..instead, the fearless prediction is that she'll delay it until the last possible day, she'll be out partying every night....will go straight from a night club the morning of June 5th to the jail.
I can't wait for the reality TV show based upon Paris' jailhouse experiences..It is in development, and has a working title of...(ta da!!!)
Celebrity Cavity Searches!!!

You gotta love this intellectual's court room responses:
Asked whether she had understood the terms of the drunk-driving plea that she agreed to Jan. 22, Hilton, 26, said: "I just sign what people tell me to sign
. I'm a very busy person."
Hilton, who made the sign of the cross in the moments before the judge gave his verdict, sobbed afterward. "I don't know what happened," she said in the moments after Sauer pronounced the sentence. "I did what they said."
And this jewel:
Within hours of her arrest, she dismissed the incident as "nothing" to radio host Ryan Seacrest, explaining: "I was just really hungry, and I wanted to have an In-N-Out burger."

Does this mean we can go for 45 glorious days without being forced to read something about Paris Hilton in the papers?

Re: "Paris Hilton looked forward and didn't speak to news media as she left court. Her mother looked upset."
Wow... this skank's parents finally come out from under the "enabling" rock they've been hiding under to say the equivalent of the Queen of Mean's claim that "only the little people pay taxes."
The Hiltons finally get a taste of how blind justice is... too bad there are not a lot more judges that'd do the same for any /all pop culture "icons" that spit on established laws, regulations, and sense of decency.

City attorney spokesman Nick Velasquez said late Friday that the judge's ruling "sends a clear message that in the city of Los Angeles, no one is above the law." Oh, really? Well, that was my laugh for the day.

Never thought she would be sentenced to jail, but am still waiting to see if she serves even one day of that sentence.
