And one other thing about this one day boycott..... it will only serve to harm the mom and pop owners of the small convenience stores.

Big oil would not be fazed a bit.

No, balboa, it's an old idea because it doesn't pass the logic test. Take a minute and think about what we're telling you. Not buying gas on a specific day just means you buy it on another day. No reduction in gas sales, hence no impact on prices. If you want to have an impact, however small, then stop driving altogether. That would actually reduce the amount of gas purchased and increase the total amount available for others to buy. That's how prices actually come down--reduction of demand.

Come up with ways, ideas, this is how things get done.

I've just given you one that actually works. Let me know what you think about it.
