Yesterday we had a real gully washer. Last night into early AM we had thunder bumpers and lightning then rain, but now it’s just overcast with a 60 percent chance of more rain this afternoon, if not sooner. It’s been wet. We have a stock tank in the pasture and yesterday’s rain filled it to almost overflowing onto the driveway. Roomey checked the drain and said it was shooting water like gangbusters, but we received so much rain in such a short period of time, the tank filled. I have to check my little garden and see what survived. I’ll need to replant my asparagus beans, I know.
