Tusday, MAY 1, 2007, EGRESS
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.
Pronunciation: 'E-"gres
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin egressus, from egredi to go out, from e- + gradi to go -- more at GRADE

I think it would be more French, such as Egrette. What do you think?
A++++ for you, Dave.
If he gets lucky he does.
A++++ for you!
Ahhhhhhh!
Think I'll put on a bright red hat and red high heels for Cyber. LOL!
Are you absolutely certain, spot?
Of course not. :-) I usually just make this stuff up as I go. I guess I better check my facts before I egress next time.
Nice teeth marks on that apple, tioga. LOL!
A++++ for you and many more!
A++++ for you, though. LOL!
You outdid yourself again, Cook. ROTFLMAO!
The hardward is on my profile page. Anyone may borrow it when needed. So is the Croquette and Croq list.
Ain’t that the truth!!!
When do you sleep?
Hehehehehehehehe!
I guess exageration is betwixt egress and digress, eh?
LOL!!!!! Thank goodness I don’t need much sleep.
It will all work out. The job situation kind of threw us off, it happened 1,2,3. I go back today, and Sue was just going to keep the girls when she picked them up from school until after girl scouts tonight.......but at the same time that I have to be at the Lodge she has to be at HR for her physical (read piss test).....so she cancelled GS for tonight and is just going to drop them here after school and they’ll come with me to the Lodge. They can do their homework, I can feed them and we’ll most likely be home by 8.
tomorrow she’ll keep them after school and we will meet them at the ball field after the seafood festival, because Becky has practice........
The action never stops at the Gabz’ home! Lordie!
I know. I was kidding, except about offering to help.
I was also serious about having dyslexic fingers. If you'll notice, I spelled 'just' as "jsut".
Probably, your eyes have gotten used to "considering the source", and you ignored it.
