As we settle into the nighttime of despair, fret not, for the Sun will rise again!!
Good morning!!
We, here, will never forget those who died on September 11, 2001, as we seek to protect the Republic from all who will do her harm!!
Administration officials are saying they will not provide an assessment of how well the "surge" is working in Iraq until September at the earliest.
Presidential candidate, for the moment anyway, John Edwards announced there is "no global war on terror" and that we should find other methods than using bombs to end terrorism.
And just when you think the hypocracy meter has been recalibrated to handle the Communists (aka DemoncRATS) musings, they peg the needle hard again. Howard Dean, completing forgeting UOx42, has announced that Rudi Guiliani's personal life "is a real problem."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
I GOT IT! DROP MARSHMELLOWS ON THEM!!!
I go down to the horse arena and get loads of rotting wood shavings they use in the stalls, let me have all I want and it is good to spread over the garden at the end of growing season then disc it under.
Good for him. I wish him great success.
We let it compost for a few years and then till it in the garden. Pure gold it is. My tomatoes love it.
Safe and happy travels prairie. How is Sam the hound doing?
I take my chicken manure and put it in 5 gallon buckets about 1/4 to 1/2 full of water, makes the tomatoes JUMP out of the ground.
Hi, till. How was the golfing event?
Yes, chicken p**p tea. I may try that.
Wish we were closer together, you could stay here instead of your car. I wish you wouldn’t consider sleeping in your car, it could be dangerous.
I think Edwards took Zell Miller seriously on the ‘spitballs’ speech...;-))
Don’t put it directly ON the plant, a little way around it and then, stand back so you won’t get hurt by the growing plant.
Will do. Thanks.
Roomey and I completed our work for the golf tournament, so we came home for a few hours, then back to the club. Beanie is not used to be tethered and she had herself tangled around the only other post on the patio. Her lead was wrapped around the opposite post. We have about 74 teams of 2 in the tournament, so it will be going on for a little bit. When we started this AM the weather was just perfect, tiny bit of breeze, the temp in the low 70s, as we stayed in our location the temp began to rise. By noon it was 87 degrees and climbing, we were in the sun, little shade. The beginning of a tan began today.
It is going very nicely. We’ve been home for some time, but will be returning this evening in time for the calcutta. (Betting on the winning teams, according to flights etc.,after tomorrow’s finals).
I used to think that too, Toby. Then I learned to play, oh what a sport it is. No matter who you’re playing with or against, you really play against your last game. Of course there are those who are consistantly good, I am not one of those. Sometimes I’m good on one tee, or one fairway, or one green or even part of one.
I’m thinking of making that “tea” from llama pellets and spraying on my front yard and side yard.
Hmmm. Why not? Seems like that would work.
Wonderful to see and hear him....talked w/him a little bit afterwards too.
He said that w/this long election season that the candidates would be repeating themselves so much that we'd all get so bored that we'd be "biting the foil". LOL
(He'll be taking chemo once a month for the next 4-6 months...forgot which number.)
