Barbara Walters just told her viewers (on her morning liberal talk show THE VIEW) about how George Bush made her mad because she was not able to cross a street in New York due to barriers in place for the President to pass through NY.
An officer recognized Walters, but told her she had to wait just like other people for the President to pass before she could cross. She was there for 15 minutes when she and others crossed anyway.
She then said the President is not a King and that she didn't much like President Bush anyway.
End of Walters Rant...
Clinton or other Presidents have NEVER blocked a street and this is something new regarding only President Bush?
What is really behind the Walters need to rant? Does she really expect the President's crossing to be quick and predictable so possible attempted assassinations could be easier for terrorists or loons?
Was this all about Walters being petty in having to wait with the LITTLE people to cross?
Seemed a low class bent thing to say on nationwide morning TV.

Hey, I had to wait to cross a street because Al Franken’s motorcade was going to Camelot High. And the South East Expressway had to be shut down because Al Gore came into town during Rush Hour and THOUSANDS of people had to find another way to get to work during the Democrat National Convention because they wanted to use the Fleet Center/North Station instead of the BRAND NEW Convention Center.

I don’t here her saying that all Presidents like Clinton, Carter or whoever were all not to be King George’s in blocking streets.
Plus, we are at WAR.
I kind of think there is no better time to expect security regarding our President than during a time of war.
She is supposed to be this reporter that is classy. Seems she was very small in her comments on nationwide TV this morning.
