I too wish, hope and pray we can do something about the teasoness acts and words of our leaders and pundits. Unfortunately I think that is now impossibe because of the sheenanagons of the Fonda, Ramsey Clark visit to VietNam during that war. I think because nothing was done to them at that time, nothing will be done to any traitor today. It makes me sick to think of the people who have lost life and limb for this country and the safety of it’s people, we endure the likes of reid’s statements that already we’ve lost in Iraq. It makes me angry that our government and judicial department is so hamstrung or weak they let these people get by with such treasoness statements and actions. (ie, pelosi)

That’s economics. In the realm of national defense: It is likely that we’re not going to be able to wake up as a nation and a world to the dangers of allowing the enemy to infiltrate our minds and our news organizations until we literally are in a War - not something “debatable”.
I watch a large number of old movies... from the 30s-60s almost exclusively. The support that the United States obtained from the media was tremendous, and necessary to our survival, and to our conduct of WW2 - and pre-WW2 and post-WW2. The US put a huge amount of treasure as well as blood into saving the world during those days, and the movie makers almost uniformly helped the effort. Now, I realize there were some that just “tried to show the other side of the story”, but for the most part our whole civilization was involved in supporting and saving the cause of freedom.
Not so now, I know.
However: when Americans start to realize that the Islamofascists are for REAL, and that there is NO other “game in town” that is remotely as important as that WAR, I believe that it will take very little time for American to come together again - facilitated by this wonderful new media we’ve created. I’m confident that the new generation “movie makers” will be part of that effort.
There WILL be another series of attacks on America one day... and unlike Spain, when those attacks come we will not surrender. Though there may be only a few children like my daughter who will have been educated sufficiently to take the reins and respond with the ruthlessness that will be necessary, they will exist. There will be those who will be able to educate and to lead the rest who were raised by sheep - whose philosophies have been clearly demonstrated to have been bankrupt.
Until then, we have to continue to let people know when we see what has traditionally been known as treason and sedition.
