(CBS 5 / AP / BCN) SAN FRANCISCO A San Francisco woman who allegedly walked away from her baby boy after giving birth to him on a street corner was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and neglect, police said.

Nadine Matthews gave birth on the sidewalk Sunday night, then walked away pretending that it never happened, said SFPD Capt. Al Casciato.

A security guard called 911 after seeing the woman give birth on 5th and Stevenson streets. When an ambulance arrived, a 5-pound, 12-ounce baby boy was found alive and kicking, but his mother was nowhere to be found, said Casciato.

Typical Pelosi-Land behavior.

Liberal late-term abortion. She was just exercising “her rights.” (barf)

” The scenario was reminiscent of a March 9 birth that occurred on an Oakland sidewalk,..”

The Chamber of Commerce must be thrilled.
It’s bad enough with the crazy’s and the homeless on their milk crates-now, the tourists will have to quick step around placentas.

How far did this woman walk? What a trooper!

My wife is such a wimp. She complained that Blue Cross cut her down to two days in a comfy hospital bed after our second child.

(ducking)

[w]itch just demonstrating her contempt that she couldn’t arrange for him to have his brains sucked out instead?

“My wife is such a wimp. She complained that Blue Cross cut her down to two days in a comfy hospital bed after our second child.”

My thoughts exactly. This woman could make a million teaching classes on the ease of birthing. Just don’t go to her parenting classes.

So, the umbilical cord cut itself?

Article doesn't say, but the last time this happened in SF (a whole month and a half ago), it went like this:

Witnesses told police the woman dropped her pants and gave birth in the street -- then ripped the umbilical cord and walked away.
