I’ve been following this little saga in the NY Post. Page Six says this guy has had 5 jobs in 3 yrs. all at investment houses, one of which folded. He has had older women girlfriends before, and he is very, very close to his mommy. He is also reportedly a gym junkie, and there is a quote from a young woman who lives in his building. He flirts with every young girl he sees. One of the ex-girlfriends confirms this to be true.

I am not trashing Perky here (what is left to say?), rather it is People magazine who whips this stuff up for the public consumption and it is all a pack of lies. People sanitizes gossip and garbage, and then makes millions for themselves and the celeb de jour. Bennifer, Brangelina, Britney. It reminds me of the drug companies who love to use X and Z in their drug names because it sounds very intelligent and serious.

People magazine paid Super Skank, Angelina Jolie, 4 million dollars for her bastard baby pics. She turned around and gave a local clinic in Namibia 300 thousand. Then she put the rest in her pocket, and People did weeks of publicity on how Angie baby singlehandedly is saving Africa. How much did she get for the completely obscene photos of the little Vietnamese boy who was wisked out of that country not knowing any of those people (one afternoon photo op by a pool) and not knowing a single word of English? HEY EVERYBODY ISN’T SHE GREAT??? Idiots who buy that BS think so. The next time you see a People or Star magazine at a checkout, ask yourself, “Gee, I wonder what is wrong with the young girls today?” They are being told that dirty filthy whores are soooo kewl. By People magazine.

I always wondered why there wasn’t a sequel to it years ago. I know it wasn’t a great success, but it has such a cult following. I think after Lord of the Rings, Gelflings will be as easily accepted as Elfs, Orcs, Dwarves, etc.

My children are adults now, but Dark Crystal is one of those films that they know by heart and that I had to buy repeatedly because they wore it out. A sequel will be a good thing :-)
