Over the holidays, I downloaded a couple of distros of Linux. Congratulations - you have the honor of the first post from Ubuntu. I couldn’t get it to load on my old PIII, so I’m trying it off of cd on my main computer.
DSL-N seems to load fine on the old PIII, but Ubuntu hangs. (I think it wants a newer BIOS). In any event, the transition to either the large install or the small one seems pretty seamless.
Now I better go back XP before my wife wants to check her email.
