Morning everyone.

Jemian please dont consider it awkward to have Kay’s memorial moneys go towards your work. I think most us here would appreciate knowing the recipient & in general when you send contributions to other “unknown” sources is isn’t the same feeling - at least to me.

I believe last night someone offered to assist you if you needed it in putting things together. I can’t imagine you needing help other than the distance factor. The age of computers is great for overcoming that however & you seem to be very efficient in all I have noted.

Neat that JT had Chistmas dinner with Gen Casey..

I am cooking for our small group Bible Study tonight. At home of a friend, 39 w/cancer & is treating all naturally. NO chemo & NO radiation. She is having remarkable results, cancer shrinking & she is looking & feeling better. She was at stage 4 when diagnosed in November.

We have all our studies on Thursday & movies on Friday once a month at their home. They relocated from DC last Aug to help start the new church work.
I promised them they wouldn’t get a weird meal. WHen people know you are a vegetarian I think they believe they will have twig casserole & grapve vine salad.

I have the GREATEST vegetarian spaghetti recipe. It's easy and it tastes wonderful. I got the recioe from Giatta Di Laurentis's "Everyday Italian" program.

Cook one large onion in olive oil in a large skillet. When the onion is transparent, add 1-2 tsp. minced garlic. Cook for one minute. Add one package of spinach or swiss chard and cook until wilted. Add 1 tsp red pepper flakes. Add one drained 28-oz can of tomatoes. Add 3/4 pound cooked drained spaghetti and toss with 1/2-1 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated. Serve with extra cheese.

You miight want to salt this...I don't because my husband doesn't like much salt, and the cheese adds enough for him. We eat this a lot as we are trying to lose weight and avoid eating a lot of meat. It makes a great dinner with a salad and Italian bread.

I am putting together the information even as we type. :) I have heard from the church and from Poppyseed both and it doesn’t need anything much more. If we were going to order flowers, I would need some help with that, I think. But since the family is asking for donations, then each person can attend to that themselves. IMHO, it would be cool if it could be marked how we knew Kay, i.e., via FR and ATRW.

If someone wants to send a note to Herb, please send it to him in care of the church as I will not give his address over the internet.
