“Even White House hopeful Hillary Clinton was inexplicably asked about him in a recent interview”.
...when I become President, he’ll win ONLY if I say he wins.

according to judge Simon Cowell who characterized his performance as the worst ever in the history of the showBut this is the same guy who on last week's show claimed that Sanjaya's performance was "not horrible" when in fact, it was (by almost any measure you care to use.) I guess the ol' double-reverse psychology thingy didn't quite work out....

Who, or what, is this “Sanjaya” people keep talking about?

This week his singing was horrible (I actually liked him last week)... and his hair was just odd.

"Well, you know, people can vote for whomever they want. That's true in my election, and it's true on 'American Idol.'" It just won't make any difference, will it? The fix is in.

Well, if the “votefortheworst” crowd is trying to manufacture a travesty, they’re doing a good job. I assume there will be some sort of change in format next season. i.e., the judges will select a certain number of finalists - say, the top five - and then let the public vote on those. That would ensure that a clown like Sanjaya can’t destroy the integrity of the program. Otherwise, there’s no point in watching (or auditioning).

It was a mistake to ever let Sanjaya get to Hollywood - a really bad move by the judges.

Cowell trades on being obnoxious. He also rolled his eyes last night when a contestant who is a Virginia native spoke in sympathy to the Virginia Tech tragedy. He’s just an a-hole, that’s his “shtick”, just like Sanjaya’s is goofy hair styles.

Sadly, Sanjaya was unable to channel his INNER COWGIRL last night on that Bonnie Raitt number....
