While in college, a plumber accidentally connected the hot water line to the toilets in a woman's dorm instead of the cold water. Ouch! Water from a boiler wouldn't warm your buns, it would toast 'em!

My Grandma, rest her soul, hooked her hot water to her toilet on purpose. She swore it took the chill out of those early morning calls of nature.
