The film was produced as a serious piece of journalism, however it was supposedly 50 years in the future looking back at a world that had gone awry. The apocalyptic scenarios that the film predicted with real dates should have already occurred by now. So, you won’t see this movie in the left’s pantheon of global warming powerhitters. I struggle to find the movie again,...I had not recalled the name. It’s worth checking out. If you could find it!
I believe "Day After Tomorrow" gleaned a lot of the chicken littleism from this film.
Just wait until the magnetic poles flip (which unlike most of the crap you hear on Coast 2 Coast, this will actually happen). It is unknown what havoc this will play on the Van Allen belts that protect us from the solar wind.
I never saw the James Burke movie, the jet stream actually touching down on earth was one of Dame’s predictions, maybe he saw the James Burke movie.
I did try to watch The Day After Tomorrow but except for some of the special effects, it was kind of boring.
What if Ed Dames was basing his prediction on remote viewing The Day After Tomorrow?! That would be hilarious if most remote viewing was actually pirating movies before they were even made!
