I have a little rescued dog named Lucy.

Glad to hear that Matilda has a second chance... and maybe the Indian guy, too.

I just hope and pray that Matilda didn’t wind up being the fat guys’ lunch!

I love these kind of stories.

Of course in my "cartoon bubble" I envision it happening in a nearby park. The guy with the combover has a nasty case of acne on his cheeks and the guy on the bench is wearing an Atlanta Braves jacket, even though I live in Minnesota.

I love any story that gives an abused/neglected dog a second chance for a better life. Good for you for taking her. Maybe it will be a chance for a better life for both of them (dog and Indian man).

Sounds like you may have saved 2 lives today. The little dog, obviously, but additionally, the indian guy. He now has a reason to walk a bit, which is good, and someone to care for, which is better.

Great story. I’m glad I have lived a VERY boring life, but I’m also glad to those who don’t often choose well when given the opportunity. Well done, jaysun.
