Police found bondage photos on a computer disk, British currency and pills in former astronaut Lisa Nowak's car after she was arrested for trying to kidnap a romantic rival, according to documents released Tuesday by the State Attorney's Office.
The floppy disk contained 16 images, 15 of them showing a woman sometimes nude, according to a forensic examination report by the Orlando Police Department. Nearly all of the images depicted scenes of bondage, the report said.
The documents did not make clear if Nowak was the woman in the photos or who to whom the disks belonged.
Nowak's attorney, Donald Lykkebak, refused to comment on the newly released documents when contacted by The Associated Press on Tuesday.
Nowak was arrested in February after police say she drove from Houston to Florida to confront Air Force Capt. Colleen Shipman. Authorities have said Nowak had an affair with Shipman's boyfriend, Bill Oefelein.
Nowak pepper-sprayed Shipman through a partially lowered car window, according to the arrest affidavit. Police said they found a BB gun, new steel mallet, a knife and rubber tubing in Nowak's possession. Nearly $600, 41 British pounds and four brown paper towels with 69 orange pills also were found in Nowak's car. It was not clear what the orange pills were.
Nowak, 43, pleaded not guilty to attempted kidnapping, burglary with assault and battery.
NASA released Nowak from the astronaut corps a month after her arrest.
yeah YEAH , That’s HER ! ! ! ,.. and You just KNOW those pills were , ...
* * * ORANGE OWSLEY * * *
add me too please. sounds interesting.
I wonder if hers had the compass in the stock?
Even astronauts can be slimeballs, I guess.
Added!
Welcome!
I fully expect that she will receive offers for book and movie contracts. American media worships sensational, corrupt, decadence and will seek to make money off this perversion.
Unfortunately, the segment of the American public that watches Springer will buy it.
I almost spit my coffee onto my laptop!
I wonder if she is a memmber of the “100 Mile High Club”?
I find this hard to believe. NASA people using floppy disks?
Her Majesty trussed and gagged?
I was about to comment that you were getting a lot of action tonight.
Then I realized how it sounded, so I won’t say it. ;)
It’s been a while, and I do have the DOS “Phobos” disk around some place, but the Palm program to run the old Infocom games is called “Kronos”.
Try http://www.codejedi.com/ for it.
LOL Thanks, now I've got coffee all over my computer screen!
Betcha the cops who booked Nowak down in Florida have been getting a stream of "Congratulation on collaring that perp" e-mails. ;-)
Thanks!
I hope Court TV features this trial.
