Rudy liked her hats, I’m sure. I wonder if he returned those that he borrowed?

You must do something about this obsession. It’s kinda creepy. Do you comb the internet for articles that are unflattering to Rudy? Don’t you have anything better to do?

Wow. That’s incredibly damning.

I don’t like Rudy, but this seems a bit of a stretch. The Mayor of the City of New York will issue a letter of condolence every time any former Congresscriter from the city dies. That’s just polite.

You really are scraping the bottom of the barrel now, aren’t you?
Fercryinoutloud the woman was dead, what the heck is a Mayor supposed to say?
Some of the stuff you’ve posted raises legitimate concerns.
This is a cheap shot and is the type usually reserved for desperate politicians who know their own candidate doesn’t have a prayer.

Any word on whether Rudy issued a statement on the death of . . . oh, I forget her name . . . whatever.
Did he?

Using a condolence quote is a lame attempt to make your point.
Perhaps this signals the bottom of your barrel.

I can understand why Rudy issued this statement, but I find it damn funny how you’ve managed to get under the skin of all the Rudyphiles. You must be doing something right...keep up the good work!
To: pissant
Um...I understand you digging up dirt on Rudy, but this doesn’t seem like anything more than the standard sort of pro forma statement a politician would issue on the death of a famous person. If Slick Willie was to kick the bucket sometime in the next 1 3/4 years, I would expect President Bush to issue a similar statement expressing sympathy to the family. It’s just what mayors and governors and Presidents are expected to do.
There’s plenty of past record to smack Rudy over the head with. I don’t see where this really qualifies, IMO.

Bush made a similar statement when his nemesis Molly Ivins died. Sheesh, you people are desperate.

The problem may be this; Rudy sees NYC as the ultimate peak of American culture, while many of us see NYC as an example of what happens when you bring your failed old world mentality along with you.
NYC is not an “American” dream, Rudy, NYC is just another damned European nightmare!
“Huddled masses yearning to be free” my ASS! Y’all are not even qualified to discuss “freedom”, Rudy!

If you rearrange the letters in this missive: "I am very saddened by the loss of Bella Abzug. She contributed a great deal to New York City through her life and career. I know all New Yorkers will join with me to offer condolences, support and prayers to her family."
You get: "I love socialism, because communism is the great hope and joy of the downtrodden. Up with Russia! Down with the USA! Ncryad bylabzg. Hebe altfe e YrkCtyd prgr lfeaeer. knwallnd YorNe rkerll toofr oleeo anryer oerfil."
