In Beaumont Texas in the 70s, our infamous sex spot was behind the bleachers.

This is really nothing that new, no social crisis.

OK, but at least you had the sense to go BEHIND the bleachers and not do it in FRONT of the bleacher in front of a full house. I think that is the part that’s new.

No one denies that some students have had sex in the past. It's not a brand new thing.

But we now live in an age when, if a teacher leaves the classroom for 15 minutes, 4 students will have sex within that window of time, while the rest of the class watches.

You maintain that this is the way it's always been??

True enough. In my Jr. High in L.A. (in the late 70s) the underground "multi-purpose room" was the place to be both right before and right after school hours. ....a room otherwise used only for P.E. when outdoor conditions weren't ideal (like during 2nd stage smog alerts). The chances of getting caught were close to zero.

In HS the fun room was chemistry lab ....school after hours. (Someone somehow managed to get a key).

I suspect our high schools aren't unique.

If caught I highly doubt there would've been any arrests. But there certainly would've been principal-parents-student meetings.
