April 10, 2007, Tuesday, DESICCATE
In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Subbie Slip has her whip, handcuffs and legcuffs today. Tomorrow Im bringing in chains, so beware.
The rest of the stuff is locked up in my drawer. Im just letting all the new students know that we behave as if we were ladies and gentlemen in here. Those two words as if can get you an A if you make the subbie laugh.

Good morning, Gabz!

ROTFLMAO! Thank you, SG!

Yes, remains cold here. We do have sunshine today, that’s always encouraging.
Most of the time I wish the Dems would just dry up.
Garde la Foi, mes amis! Nous nous sommes les sauveurs de la République! Maintenant et Toujours!

Cyber and I both have funny bones about packaging left over food and saucery. We freeze dry just about everything. The labeling is fun. We've thrown out more stuff because of that. One freeze dried sauce was the best Teriyaki sauce I had ever made, but we labeled it as "phlegm." We didn't know what it was, so we melted it and threw it away. We laughed. No more mislabeling.
A++++ for you, Cricket!
Good morning Slip!
A++++ for you, Dave.
BTW, the word is "desiccate." Two c's, one s. I messed up a crossword puzzle yesterday with that word. LOL!
How anyone could even consider bringing those foreign fighters onto our soil id beyond me. One would have to be stupid or willfully destructive to suggest it.
Buenas diaz to you, xs!
Go outside and get some Vitamin K when it warms up. Don’t stay out too long or you’ll get sunburned! LOL!
but would have had
DesiKate.
At the Flyers games, Kate's famous "God Bless America" would have been followed by "Babalu."
A++++ for you!
I listen to Paul Harvey or Paul Harvey, Jr. in the morning at 5:57 my time. I'm addicted to his two-minute stories.
A++++ for you, Neo!
Hey, you spelled the WFTD correctly! Congratulations!
A++++ for you! Thank you!
Whenever I see those desiccant pouches, I always wonder
how many people REALLY try to eat them?
You pinged just as I was about to go off line to take the girls to school, so I was able to jump in quick and then lave!!!!
I need to get some blackbeans a soaking for dinner tonight. A friend gifted me with her Easter ham bone, because she’s not a big fan of ham and hates all kinds of bean soups, especially those made with ham. I cooked a beef roast for Easter and so didn’t have a ham bone, and I’ve been craving balckbean soup for weeks.
