Rte great research!
As far as the ‘cracker’ goes...whether it be for the reasons outlines by Rte or the reason stated by Sac...it just seems to me that if it were named as such, for any of the reasons you’ve stated, doesn’t it seem like those reasons would be ‘over Anna’s head’? They definitely sound like reasons HKS would have wanted the name! Maybe he did, and knowing Anna was only going to be around for a short while longer, convinced her of the name and was able to convince her of some ‘easier’ meaning for ‘cracker’ as relates somehow to Daniel?
Our system of Law is based on English Law.
So is Bahama Law and as you have seen via Pindar, they still wear the wigs as they still do in England.
I imagine that Howard was engaged in reviewing Bahama Law before they went there. He had gotten all the way to the Supreme Court via Constitutional Law.
Now we see him challenging Bahama Constitutionl Law.
She probably made a comment on the immense time he was doing researching and he gave her a very brief history...basically a couple of one liners.
He would become "The Cracker" of John's Shakepeare, seeking to be heir to the throne.
It may be connected to the "Queen" bit, too. She wanted to be Queen. In the end, I think the tiara was VERY SYMBOLIC. THE QUEEN IS DEAD.
I definitely think that - for sure. This was *Howard’s* boat, not Anna’s. (Heh heh, too bad for him that he can’t operate it himself.)
With only one boat, the naming of that first one has to be “pregnant” with meaning and lots of hope for bright tidings in the future.
You could tell that every little thing they did was on the premise that they believed they would be wealthy beyond imagination “some day.” And that Koch stock was the only thing standing in the way, from their POV.
Everything that Anna knew was Physical.
Mentally, she knew that the cashier would add it up at the end of the day and Howard would take care of all the legal stuff. NOT HER JOB!!
Please notice that neither death occurred at the Horizons. One day after Danny's death, Anna and Dannie Lynn would have been at home. One day after her death, Anna would have been at home.
