That’s funny! Seriously though, I haven’t seen Dr. Scarpetta all day - at least on this thread. Maybe she’s too depressed by today’s events to engage in conversation about it.
I really, really hate that Virgie has gone thru so much for just “a lick and a promise” from Larry - when as soon as they have that worked out, HKS will laugh his head off at the “naive fools” for playing into some other diabolical plan of his that we can’t yet even conjure up.
But you can bet it will depend on something for Virgie not being in writing.
No, he isn’t the nice guy. He’s a money-grubbing @#$%, but this delay is not HKS...
You may be right. She posted once around 3PM my time, but left you some breakfast earlier in the AM, if not any adult beverages!

I wonder this: If she knew ANS was in danger of dying the same as Daniel (as she said on TV) then why didn't she join with Larry last October to try and prove him the father and get custody of Dannielynn and get her away from that dangerous environment...
HKS is a horrible person, but I am starting to believe that, by her own actions this last week, if Vergie is no more pure than HKS in her motives. Judy (Birkheads sister) danced around saying as much tonight.
People have fallen in love with Larry there. Virgie better watch HER drinks! By the way, what did that fortune teller say a few weeks ago about the heavy set woman...in danger or ill?
I don’t wish anyone harm, but now I’m wondering if Virgie is making enemies.
Virgie has already suffered an Anuerism,, she is not in the best of health.. and I’m not certain she is physically as capable of caring for Dannielynn as Larry and his family...
I respectably disagree with you on this...I am a single mother and have 2 sons (ages 11 and 8) and they are wonderful boys who love everyone in their lives....including my parents, who play a HUGE part in their lives! However, if I was estranged from my parents (for whatever reason), both of my boys are so ‘protective’ and loyal to me, I honestly don’t believe they would contact my parents or attempt to have a relationship with them, unless they felt that I was in favor of it. Believe me, I am raising my boys to have good values, but ALSO to make their own decisions, and form their own opinions, and STILL I do not think they would ever ‘reach out’ to anyone if they felt that person was ‘against me’ or if they felt I did not ‘approve’ or get along with that person....and THAT is coming from someone (ME) who believes that Virgie should absolutely play a role in DL’s life (unless it is proven that she has an ulterior motive). The fact is, that my boys have a very normal life. They live with me, as a single mom, and my parents see them EVERY day! If it weren’t for my parents, my boys would not be able to do nearly as much as they do now (i.e. Taekwondo, Baseball, Football, Tennis, etc.) bc I work and my parents are able to take them to practice, and pick them up, etc. My boys also see their Dad anytime it’s possible...meaning that he keeps an odd schedule but anytime he is available, they can see him. However, in my experience, my boys would feel that associating with someone that I did not like (or that they perceived did not like me) would be wrong. I ALSO want to point out that I am not particularly CONTROLLING or anything....this is just something I’ve noticed about my own kids. In fact, I was at first amazed when my parents and other people told me how ‘protective’ my boys are about me....so I guess I do not find it odd that Daniel would not have contacted Virgie, or would have ‘avoided’ her if Virgie contacted him....JMO, of course...

I assumed since he spent so much time with her as a youngster, he would want to at least talk to her on the phone just to say hello once in a while.
Oh yeah, I forgot to add that since I know how my boys are protective about me, and I have NEVER told them that someone was a ‘bad’ person, or that someone did ‘bad things’ to me, I can totally understand why Daniel would not have contacted Virgie or any other family in Texas. If he had heard Anna say bad things about Virgie (or even if Anna never said anything bad about Virgie, but he saw his mother (Anna) cry bc she was upset about Virgie) that would be enough for him to ‘shun’ Virgie....Daniel LOVED his mother, he did not want to do anything to upset her (including contacting her own mother - his grandmother)! Poor Daniel reached out to a STRANGER (the PI) to help his mother. I’m sure he had his head filled with propanganda about Virgie and all of his other relatives for quite some time....from both Anna and HKS!!
BTW...I find it odd that there hasn’t been anything in the media about Daniel wanting to meet his biological father! It seems to me that he would have wanted to know something about him or at least meet him by the time he turned 20! That is another thing I know about my boys...THEY know their father and SEE him when they can, but they still cannot get ‘enough’ information about him...they love to hear any little story or tidbit I tell them about their Dad...they literally ‘suck’ it into their being!
I want to agree with you about Virgie...she seems totally sincere in her intentions to me...but there is so much SPIN (mostly by HKS) going on in the media..I just get discouraged about everyone. I have always believed that Larry and Virgie had noble intentions, and I hope that is true...(Actually, the fact that Vergie hasn’t been on TV herself lately makes me feel even better about her intentions), but I’ve been disappointed by people’s actions before, so I guess I am guarded...I’m still trying to keep the faith...and believe that both Larry and Vergie care only about Dannielynn!
That’s nice that even though you’re apart, the boys know their father and want to know everything about him. It’s good your parents have an active role in their lives, too. Wouldn’t it be nice if all kids had such a caring family?
Yes, I feel sorry for Daniel, too. Even though Anna loved him, I wonder if he desired to see the rest of his family.
