If Virgie and Larry were happy the other day and Howard was not, Who put the wrench in this to make Howard happy and Virgie and Larry grit their teeth. Duh.....

I think we know LB better than that. There is no way O’Quinn traveled to the Bahamas to assure visitation rights to the grandmother. He’s there for custody or joint custody for Virgie.

Custody is one thing. Fatherhood is another. The Ca court accepted the Bahama Birth Certificate but I believe they asked for the DNA prior so when the father is acknowleged, they just may say he still has to take a DNA test.

He's going to try to say: Okay...Larry is the father so there's no need for my DNA. But one never knows because it pre-existed the DNA test with Larry. That's not what the order said. Add IIRC to all this and IMO...and anything else you might think of.

I dont get it...

First I dont undersatnd why HKS is even involved as far as court today...it should be between virgie and Larry.

Second, I may be wrong, but I thought Larry and Virgie already talked before today?!?! She just stood there and smiled and it was all let them talk, let them talk, and then someone asked why it had anything to do with the court. Well, I have to agree...Larry is the dad, give him his daughter. Now once Larry does get her, can the court tell him who and when people can see her? Like can the judge say...Hey, Uncle Howie wants to see her and it is in the courts best interest he does. That dont seem fair.

HKS is there to make sure Virgie doesn’t get joint custody or custody. He’s on Larry’s side now.

We're not getting anywhere. We don't know ANYTHING about what has happened in this court except that we now know that Larry is the father and Howard is a "confirmed" liar...again.

Because Howard is at the Horizons, he is probably using that power to keep Virgie away and he simply won't lift it under the guise of "It was Anna's wishes" and that nasty video.

Great...Where’d the money go. You don’t buy stuff like that with no money. Bet it was a very minimal amount. Weren’t contractors working on it and they all of a sudden quit?? They probably never got paid either and will sue the owner for payment since Howard has no interest and you can almost bet there was no signed contract. Funny how that works....if you know the Gibson family.

ok... we know Larry is the daddy and Virgie is the gramma and HKS is nobody. Now, the court can leave Dannielynn with a nobody? And the court can tell Larry and Virgie to talk things over, BUT the court can still decide who gets custody? So why cant the court let Virgie go for a visit then?

INSIDE EDITION has learned that Larry Birkhead has spent the last three days staying at the mansion where Anna Nicole lived before her death - bonding with his baby daughter.

Meanwhile, Anna Nicole’s mom, Virgie Arthur, has visited the grave where both Anna Nicole and son Daniel are buried. There has also been a meeting between Virgie and Larry Birkhead, and their attorneys - to discuss what access Virgie will have to the baby.

While the proceedings are under a gag order, it is believed the parties were there to discuss a legal transition from custody between Stern and Birkhead. Arthur is also believed to be fighting for joint custody of the seven month old.

I'm sorry, but she should not be granted joint custody.

Custody of Anna Nicole’s baby still unclear

NASSAU (Reuters) - A hearing in a Bahamas court on Friday failed to end a prolonged battle over custody of late Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, 7-month-old Dannielynn.

Larry Birkhead, a Los Angeles photographer and former boyfriend of the billionaire’s widow, was identified on Tuesday as the father of the baby, who could one day be worth a fortune if Smith’s estate wins a decade-long battle to inherit from her former oil tycoon husband J. Howard Marshall.

But Friday’s hearing over custody of Dannielynn, at which Birkhead had been widely expected to be awarded guardianship based on court-ordered DNA tests, adjourned soon after it got under way.

Damien Gomez, an attorney for Smith’s long-time companion Howard K. Stern, said the hearing was suspended at the request of lawyers for both Birkhead and Smith’s mother Virgie Arthur.

Gomez did not elaborate. But John O’Quinn, Arthur’s lawyer, told reporters Birkhead and his client had agreed to meet privately on Saturday in an apparent bid to reach an agreement over custody of the child.

Without any lawyers present, O’Quinn said the father and grandmother of Dannielynn would try “to figure out what they believe is in the best interest of this child and try to get it done.”

Whatever plan they come up with would then be submitted for court approval, O’Quinn said.

The abrupt death of Smith in a Florida hotel casino on February 8 of an accidental drug overdose set off a three-way battle for the former topless dancer’s baby.

Stern was listed on Dannielynn’s Bahamian birth certificate as her father but he publicly removed himself from the custody fight on Tuesday, saying Birkhead had undisputed rights to the child.
