I read somewhere that his twin brother's little girl looked like Dannilynn at that age.

I think that's too vague to litigate on, Spunky. We're talking about "whether a statement is intended to convey an actual fact about a person". Then the stated fact has to be false, intended with malice and where the person knew or should have known otherwise. Different criteria varies from state to state but it seems they all look for those key points. It's only after certain statements are proven to be defamation in a court of law, can someone start moving forward to litigate damages and other forms of relief.
I can't tell you what to say, that's up to you. But I can help show you the law that makes you more informed to make an educated decision. Again, I'm honestly skeptical about the entire threat. I just thought it would be a good idea for us to know what the law says about it. People are entitled that much. I thought Wood's words, "Don't do it!" was akin to treating all adults as ignorant, little children who couldn't digest anything more, and I found it insulting and arrogant, at best.
Intimidation tactics always fail around educated people.

gosh sw...I just saw something on the news about this...they showed footage of the fishermen pulling up empty traps, but for the life of me...I can’t remember what they said was causing the problem...just that the price of lobster was going to skyrocket!
