Anyone getting server errors when attempting to return results? I’ve got two ‘puters that can’t connect to Stanford and I’m too lazy to track down the problem.

My FAHlog shows this blip around 0700 on 4/11; nothing else looks unusual, though.

A general howdy, to some of the new “folders”. First of all thanks. Second, if you have any questions, ask and we will try to help out. Finally, click on the links to check your status...The worst thing about “folding” IMHO is that I’m always trying to climb the charts. It’s infectious.

On a personal note, let me say that I’ve meet very few FReepers in person as we are mostly an on-line group. However, I’ve had the honor of standing shoulder to shoulder with null_and_void during our counter FReeps in San Francisco and being spit on by long haired, drug infested hippies. Good times, what?

In the last week or so I’ve been getting this problem alot, currently happening about 2-3 days now. Have rebooted, have restarted, shut off firewall with no help. Computer and internet connection is fine otherwise.

I have the same errors in my log...In my case, it looks like an OLD work package can’t get returned, but the system keeps trying. However, I’m still folding and NEW packages are being sent and received with no problem. I’m ignoring the message.

It is possible that 171.65.103.100 was one of the servers affected by a network problem at Stanford, but now it is up and running:

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html

Other possibilities are that M$ updates snuck IE7 through to your system, and you will need to turn “Use IE Settings” to “No”.

Got the HP laptop folding and have just added the PS3 tonight.

One issue with the HP-laptop, it seems to want to forget to get a new work unit after completing one...I think I fixed the wifi thing with it dropping the connection every night...so, how do I get it to always reload autiomatically?

GRRRRRRRRR

Not enough info yet.

Are you folding the GUI 5.03 or the console 5.04?

On the GUI, there is a checkbox on the second tab, “ask before using network”.

In looking at your work units, there does not seem to be a problem. You submit completed work units like clockwork.

Please put me onthe folding ping list.

I cannot believe how fast the PS3 is at folding...0.04sec per fold...AMAZING, I’ll be in the top 200 for FR in just a few days, in three months top 100~~!
