A Rendezvous with Destiny
The Real Freedom Fighters
President Reagan's Humor (Oh my goodness, this man was funny.)
Tribute to the Challenger Astronauts
Tear Down This Wall

Wow.

It is a DAMN shame that I was born in 1988. No wonder he was called the Great Communicator.

He was the first president I ever voted for. THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER REAGAN! That man was one of a kind. I miss him!

Ronnie was the best ever. He not only could deliver a great speech, he could write them. Ronnie spoke from the heart and with an understanding of the issues that is grossly underestimated by the historians who try to attack him.

Reagan saved America. This country was a mess when he was elected and he drew a lot of votes from working class Americans who are patriotic but disagree with the economic policies of the liberal northeast establishment Republicans.

Of course, since then, the party has been unwilling to nominate anyone like him and we’ve seen a slow drift left from Bush Sr to Bush “Ted Kennedy’s one of the best legislative senators” Jr. to Rudy “Most of Clinton’s policies are similar to mine” Judiani.

Reagan led America out of the wilderness - we are starving for that kind of leadership today.

If we had been unfortunate enough to end up with Jimmy Carter for another term, you may have never been born...

I can relate. I was in elementary school when he was in office, and I can barely remember him.

Does anyone have a link to the Reagan tribute/presentation film shown at the 1984 Republican Convention? I believe it was called “Morning in America”. It is still vivid after all of these years and I would like to share it with my kids ( ages 16 & 19).

Sorry if this a duplicate post, but does anyone have a link to the Morning in America film shown at the 1984 GOP convention? I would love to share that presentation with my kiads (ages 16 & 19). While I have a link to the shortened commercial, wasn’t there a 3-5 minute presentation played at the convention in 1984?

FYI,

Hannity’s America (his weekend FoxNews show) has a WWRD What Would Reagan Do segment with video of various great speeches.

Holy crap you're only 19?

In 1988 I was a sophomore in high school.

Thanks for the links; I’ll have to try them when I’m “allowed”!

Anyway, I’m glad I came of age when Reagan was around, but I was too young to vote for him. Had to vote for Bush instead!

I don’t remember much of him either as I was a little young when he was in office. I do remember my father speaking highly of him. That is one fo the reasons I wish I was born a litte earlier.

Reagan, Thatcher and John Paul II all came to power due to divine influence in my opinion. Three amazing people in the right place and exact right time who changed the course of history. May God bless them all.

I was still in my young lib phase when Reagan came into office. It's more embarassing to have wasted that time than to not have been born yet.
