"The book these came from said some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!

Very clever and kudos to the artist.
Pleased that no cats were harmed in
the execution of this playful hoax.

Can you say photoshopped cats? Anyone who has ever had a cat knows they would never be still for this.

From the Snopes site:
"'Why Cats Paint' is a sort of preemptive strike of a title. It bypasses the crucial issue (Do cats paint?) and moves right to developing a theoretical construct about a phenomenon that has not yet gone through the formality of actually existing"
Upon reading this, I immediately though of "anthropogenic global warming", and the corresponding question,
"Why must we do something about global warming --- NOW!"

Do *not* tell my dog. She's prissy enough already, however, in her mind, nothing's too good for her, not even a $15,000 paint job.

So this is news? I'm still trying to perfect physics experiments on my cat
To: Jo Nuvark
Some are very cool - the 1st that simply use the cat's natural colors.
But I'm not sure I would do this, expensive or not.
But there is nothing here about what all this is - "painting", or dying? Cat asleep, or awake (I doubt latter)? If it's really "paint", what kind that would hang around? Seems dying is more logical. Just like I do to my hair!
