Looking for go-kart places near Washington D.C.

Posted on 03/31/2007 2:09:38 PM PDT by rudy45

I'd like a place that has some sort of meeting facilities as well, so that I could conduct team building. What places can anyone recommend? Thanks.

Go Kart Track - more info »
4300 Kenilworth Ave, Bladensburg, MD

Crofton Go-Kart Raceway - more info »
1050 State Route 3 S, Gambrills, MD

I've never been to these either. I do know Bladensberg is not a very nice area but is the closest to DC. The Dulles one is second closest and Gambrills farthest.

I know I can google, but what I'm looking for is first-hand information. That's infinitely more useful than just a name and phone number. Thanks.

Aha, thanks. A friend went there with her office, I think. At least, I see the company name on the web site. I'll ask her for her opinions, and for those of her co-workers. Thanks.

The mall out front the capitol is a great spot. You can either run the walks or off road thru the greens.

The best times are when the lefties are staging a protest as you can use them for slalom cones. Extra points for every cone you can hit.

The Dulles one is indoors. I stopped in just to look a few years ago, I don't race but it looked clean. If you go there you should try to also see the Air & Space Museum Annex about 10 miles South on Rt. 28.
