I wish I could say that I understand this situation better, but alas, I don't.

I think that my sympathies in this lie with Torvalds, and I think I'm just going to trust his judgment. If he gets out of the business for some reason or another, I'll be adrift for guidance, though. I really can't seem to get my brain wrapped around this issue well enough for proper discernment.
