My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I think spring is plotting a frigid-to-frying transition.

Could very well be. We have seen that one before. We have snow flurries and cold forecast for the entire week.

During a routine physical the doctor asked how much coffee did I drink in an 18-20 hour day. I told him around 10 16 ounce cups. He said to reduce the intake. Next time he asked the question I told him 5 cups per day. What I didn't tell him was that I doubled the size of the cup. The consumption of all that coffee was a habit that I acquired while in the Navy. I still have that habit.

Yup, I used to drink a lot of coffee also. I make six cups every morning and drink about one and on half large mugs for the day. I don’t care for it any more. I never drink coffee after 5 P.M. bothers my sleep.

Well, there are a lot worse things to drink than coffee. ;)

I have never forgotten where I live when I stick to coffee. LOL

For some reason or another, leaded coffee has never affected my sleep. The unleaded version upsets my stomach.

De Cafe, I've heard it’s something they use to remove the caffeine that bothers some folks.

Some types of tea have more caffeine than coffee.

LOL Polar Bears love the ice and cold. I really I do much better in cold weather-I can’t stand hot & humid, it really is a miserable weather - I ache something fierce. Now hot and dry I can handle.

To me while in areas of high humidity, I feel like I am taking a shower with my clothes on.

Yup, it’s miserable. Now for the bear reference, in hot humid weather, I am as grumpy as a bear. ;(

You're a Pack Rat in Training
You know those crazy old people with a ton of video tapes and cats?
Well, you're training to be one. Time to do some spring cleaning. Even if it isn't spring!

You Are a Not Pack Rat
You're not a pack rat - and there's probably no rats in your home.
You have a living style that's totally minimalist. You're definitely not attached to stuff.
Are You a Pack Rat?
